About HBA Tea

The founder Haroon Bin Ali and his family originated from the state of Gogha, India. They traveled to Indonesia and eventually settled in Singapore in the early 1900’s. He started the tea business in a small way, by selling around the neighborhood, amongst his friends and then to the popular ‘sarbat tea stalls’.

This led to sales in local sundry shops and currently at present times, it is being sold at Mustafa Centre and all Sheng Siong outlets. Business was passed down to his only son Mohd Sibli Bin Haroon whom then passed to his eldest son, Abdul Razak Bin Sibli.
